The Gallery is located in the beautiful village of Thornthwaite, with its backdrop of the Whinlatter forest, two and a half miles north west of Keswick. It is brown signed from the A66 whether approaching from the Keswick or Cockermouth direction.
Avoid turning left early into Braithwaite if coming from Keswick. Once in Thornthwaite village there is a small brown sign to the Gallery.
The work will be in a variety of media: water colour and oil paintings, clay sculpture, hand made paper collage, photography, textiles and acrylics. The subject matter of the work is wide ranging and we hope that you enjoy the exhibition!
As a Cockermouth group, along with Thornthwaite Galleries we would like to donate 5% of sales to a fund which has been set up to help the flood victims of Cockermouth
