The artists who are independent and living in the Cockermouth area share a commitment to the objectives of the group and wish to work with other artists to promote

group of local painters, sculptors, and Photographers,
who produce work in a wide variety of media.
The objectives of the group are to promote the visual arts in the Cockermouth area and to organise exhibitions and community arts activities. We also want to make and maintain links with other like-minded bodies.
high professional standards and contribute to the group in energy and diversity, also the individual's passion and commitment to their arts practice and its quality and potential for development.
At this time Interested Artists of all disciplines are encouraged to submit a representative selection of their work for consideration by the group.
New applications for membership
will be considered by the association
once a year after the group's Spring Exhibition.
